Dear Journal,

Well, I have been meaning to post one of these for a long time but have never really gotten around to doing it and I couldn’t think of anything to write about. My fanfiction is at a standstill for the moment as I try to get school work done and my ideas aren’t really moving forward in general; so in other words, it may be a while before another chapter fic comes along. But until then, I will try to write some more oneshots and hopefully keep something going.

Anyways, got these questions from GaijinOtaku215 and thought that I would answer them for fun! Enjoy.


Question #1: What is the earliest anime you recall seeing?-
A: Sailor Moon

#2: What series got you into anime/manga?-
A: MoonPhase

#3: How long have you called yourself an otaku?-
A: Probably for the last year or so. Though I need to get back to anime.

#4: What is your very favorite anime/manga?-
A: Wow. What a question! I’d say it would have to be a tie between Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni and Elfen Lied.

#5: What anime/manga character would you marry?
A: Um, let’s see here, it would be either Kurumu or Moka-san from Rosario +Vampire, or it would b Osaka from Azumanga Daioh or Inori from Hyakko. Hmm, don’t think this marrying an anime girl thing is going to work.

#6: Have you ever been to a convention?-
A: No, but I think there is one held annually nearby where I live; so it might be worth checking out sometime.

#7: Have you ever cosplayed?-
A: No, but I think it would be fun.

#8: Can you speak japanese?-
A: Only what I have picked up from animes.

#9: Have you watched any hentai?-
A: Yes.

#10: Do you like yaoi?-
A: Haven’t really seen or read any that I liked, so it’s hard to say at this point.

#11: Yuri?-
A: yes

#12: Are you a lolicon?-
A: I guess maybe I’m a little bit of a lolicon.

#13: Dub or sub?-
A: Definitely sub, but I do occasionally watch dubbed anime, depending what it is.

#14: How much money would you pay to spend a day with a real mangaka?-
A: Kinda pressed for money at the moment, so I probably wouldn’t spend a lot.

#15: Do you like fan fiction
A: Yep! I enjoy reading and writing it.

#16: Do you consider youself a weeaboo?-
A: maybe just a wee little bit

#17: What anime object do you wish were real?-
A: Ropponmatsu!!

#18: What would it take to make you stop being an otaku?-
A: I’m not that big of an otaku so I don’t think it would take much. Once I get out of college, I probably won’t have much of any exposure to anime/manga for a while so that might do it, but I hope not.

#19: Azumanga Daioh or Lucky Star?-
A: I like both, but I have to go with Azumanga Daioh. It’s been a while since I watched Lucky Star but it’s just not as memorable as Azumanga Daioh.

#20: Strawberry Panic or Marimite?-
A: Honestly, neither. In Strawberry Panic, I didn’t like the character Shizuma Hanazono because I couldn’t quite sympathize with her. And with Marimite, just the way this anime was set up, I didn’t find it very attractive. (I haven’t read the mangas of either one, just seen the animes). When it comes to yuri anime, my favorite so far is Girl Meets Girl.

#21: Anime or manga?-
A: Mainly anime, I don’t read much manga anymore. I used to read quite a bit of it online, but there haven’t been many series which have caught my attention lately.

#22: If you have kids, would you name them after anime characters?-
A: I think it would be really fun but I somehow have a feeling that the wife would have a problem with that. And it would probably be awkward for the child to grow up with such a out-of-place name. But yeah, I think it would be lots of fun to do!
